If you’re like me, as a fly fishing guy, I appreciate being able to get reliable, useful information from local experts. If you’re interested in fishing the Deerfield River, Charley... read more at Overwatch Outfitters is that guy.
I’ve fished the Deerfield many times over the years. My first stop is always Overwatch Outfitters to talk with Charley about the River, the fish, and what are the hot flies to use.
This year, Charley picked out four flies for me; two for when the water is high, and two for when it’s low. (He also lets me know when high and low water will occur and where to fish to take advantage of the change).
Well, this year Charley’s advice was dead on, (as usual). Enough words. I’ll let a couple photos do the talking
If the store is anything like their social media I wouldn't recommend it. They suppress critical thinking and are willing to spread information without checking for facts. They may have what you need but I wouldn't waste my time with ignorance.
